BCIT Tall Timbers
The BCIT Tall Timbers project involved the construction of a new mass timber student housing building on the BCIT Burnaby Campus.
Cancon completed the excavation contract as well as the civil contract. Excavation contract consisted of bulk excavation, shoring, detailed excavation and backfill, slab preparation. The civil contract included new storm, sanitary and water services as well as site grading and paving.
The project required close coordination with the general contractor, engineering teams as well as campus operations to minimize disruptions to academics.
