Surrey Intersection Improvements
This capital project for the City of Surrey involved intersection improvements in four locations to improve the flow of traffic in key travel corridors. Cancon's scope included road reconstruction, concrete curb and gutter replacement, sidewalk installation, catch basin and storm drainage upgrades, and full asphalt restoration.
The project required extensive coordination with Surrey's traffic operations team to safely manage vehicle and pedestrian movements throughout construction. A detailed traffic management plan was implemented and maintained throughout the entire project duration.
All work was completed within the City's required timeframe and to Surrey's construction standards. The improvements significantly enhanced the safety and functionality of this critical intersection.
